V8 318 automatic, PS/PB, Base model classic with under 24,000 miles. Car was properly put in well ventilated storage in 1979. That's right 46 years of hibernation. Today's it is registered and insured, driven daily. It is basically a time capsule, a straight solid survivor with nice interior. Everything works, even the original am radio. This car is all original except for the fuel tank. Just past NYS inspection. Has all new tires and exhaust system , after 46 years she is remarkably sound. Those must have been some rough 24k miles, or storage was terrible... either way, "patina" just means serious paint money is needed, and those rattle-can steelies that don't quite match look awful...

Yeah looking at the odometer I'd say 122,496 miles.

Whatever the miles, it didn't see salt. I can't tell what plate was on it in the original ad, but it has NY now.
I'd like to own it; my first car was a '70 Fury III convertible. However, being already a 2 car, one driver household, there's no way to justify it.
