With a wagon and the 383-4, I would certainly entertain changing the radiator over to a 26" and a corresponding core support instead of the "shorty" - I have to wonder whether Chrysler still used the higher stall torque converter in the 383-4 package when installed in a relatively heavy wagon. The new owner apparently lives in Nevada where temperatures are getting ever worse at least here in the Southwest and a high stall converter surely won't help that reality.
