How hard is it to replace the heater core on a 71 Chrysler 300? Mine is leaking and fogging the window. Does the dash have to come out? It's a non-a/c car. Thanks for any info.
I don't know how hard it is to get a non-ac core out but I have a new heater core for sale. Did not know there was a difference in non-ac and ac cores. Removing the two hoses can be your only under hood work unless you want to clean the box too, not a bad idea after 45 years. Non A/C cars are way easier access/replace. Dash stays, remove glove box door and liner and unless you're skinny and don't mind a bit of contorting you may want to remove the front seat.
