One very good sign is the headlight doors and the fasten seat belt light is working on the dash - an indication the electrical system is original and intact. The vinyl seat covering material and carpet are in very good condition with sun fade - on the hard plastic of the glove compartment and carpet.

As for options, I would in person confirm all the power seats, windows, A/C are working. My 69 was a rust free CA car, and I took the buyers statement that items "worked" but all the electrical contacts - switches had mild corrosion issues that I have been cleaning - addressing.

This car also has a rim blow steering wheel, you will have to check that as well.

The some of the components in the Motorola radio's of this era are no long available. It may not be possible to re-built, but require the digital upgrade for $600. My radio worked for a year then the old components broke down. (this is what I was told calling around to several shops noted on this site).

It appears the paint on the rear end of the body from the front doors back is a slightly different shade of than the front of the car. The vinyl top appears to be good - not corroded at the edges. Personally I like the 4 door hardtops, but we all know the big money is with the two doors.

Look on line, 1970 300's, that are solid, all together there, rust "free" and has been activly maintaned and driven, they appear to be selling for $14 to $16K.

From the licence plate in the trunk, it looks like it was last registered in May 1990. To be a dependable driver, working with this as a solid base, you will need $5,000 + in new parts to replace the old degraded ones (tires, brake lines, shocks, front end rubber bushings - ball joints, fuel lines, u-joints, ect) plus a few bucks to install a new headliner. With that being said, $9,500 to $10,00 - knowing that it will take some $$$ to get it to the $14K price. If the paint does not match, then I would knock a few more dollars off as it will take money to correct.

Hopefully this help with the decision and context from a second set of eyes. Good luck.

OPINIONS PLEASE.
not a player, but thats a winner.

reasonable ask, looks to be in fine shape, but a likely five digit transaction price (and its Faceplant) would make me wanna get eyes on it in person.

hope it finds a good home.

What would be the issue with the rim blow steering wheel? @Sport Fury GT
Have to look more into the paint issue.

@azblackhemi Good point. I specifically want 2 doors and need to be reminded of that.

I like the car and really appreciate you guys giving me some eyes on the possible issues.
Thanks guys!

Why do 4-door cars get so much negativity?
Goes back to American hot rod culture. A coupe was to be a hotrod. A four door was a grocery getter. We hated them as kids and I'm 52. To this day the only four doors I really like are plane Jane sleepers for the most part. I have and love a 65/66 town sedan because it requires 4 doors to achieve that look. A Hudson was a better looking car in a 4 door. I have two four doors and would like to convert one to two door.

Why do 4-door cars get so much negativity?
I have no idea. The same engine and everything else in a four-door car just makes more sense, and they often look better than their 2-door counterparts (or not sufficiently different to justify the headaches of living with a 2-door). The Australians have understood for decades that a four-door performance car is a swell idea; I'm not sure why it took America until the 1990s to come to the same conclusion.

Why anyone would have a 2-door as a family car, I haven't a clue. My dad had a '76 Torino 2-door as our daily when I was a kid, and he swore it would be his last 2-door because it just made no sense.

The OP 300 would look killer with whitewalls in place of those barely-white-lettered blackies on there now.
