1972 Dodge Polara 4 door a pillar trim on a 2 door?

Finishing some interior and I needed to change out my driver A pillar plastic piece since mine is missing a chunk where it visible so I got and painted the good one from my 4 door parts car and it just won’t fit like if the windshield is at a different angle than the 2 door.
