Just in case anybody likes a full size Phord ..... $10K o.b.o.

This one just popped up for sale in my town, at Certified Auto (across from NAPA). I think it belongs to one of the mechanics at the shop there. It needs TLC, he leaves the windows down most of the time and the interior is very dusty and dirty. You can see how dirty the top is in this photo - the seats look just like that. The instrument cluster is completely covered in dust so that you can't even see it.

The previous time it was for sale is here: Pick of the Day: 1972 Ford LTD Convertible

I'm not sure if he has it up on any site, I don't see it on craig's list. And I'm not on Fake book either. No number or any other info on the sign.... may be he's testing the market with a low tech approach?

I rejoined last year under a name NOBODY knows JUST for Marketplace to buy a car that I wanted. However, it's getting full of scammers lately.
Funny, it's usually the scammers who use fake names, besides stolen accounts.

These came in a terrible green. This looks to have green seats..
They look off-white to me.

I almost bought a '72 2-door hardtop in an amazing light mint green colour; it had white roof and black interior, it was very sharp and unusual. Seller was a d#ck so the deal fell-through, unfortunately.

I don't get all the hate for green cars - green is one of the best colours for cars, as long as it's not too pukey (typically when they're too yellow).

ok, here are a couple more that I took yesterday....given the interest, haha.

The trunk lid is flucked.

Repaint, and I doubt this is an OEM color.

The entire body is relatively straight, but lots of dings and waviness all over.

It's a 30-footer.

$10k seems like a lot for that. I've seen similar late '60s and early '70s Ford and Mercury convertibles for < $10k Canadian that were much nicer than this one.
