1973 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham Coupe - $12,750 - Middleburg, Pennsylvania

FB Description
Proud to bring you this rare most original, low mileage classic car I have seen maybe ever. The last of the fuselage era, 1973 New Yorker 2 DOOR Hardtop Brougham 440 Big Block 47,000 original miles, slept in a building for over 30 years til a friend bought it from original owner, enjoyed awhile then he couldn’t keep indoors anymore, sat for a year outside, so I got it and went over it, new tires, rebuilt carb, plugs, wires, oil change, battery, new fuel sending unit, valve cover gaskets and idler arm. No rust anywhere, a few bubbles starting under vinyl top like they do. Power everything, tilt, telescoping wheel, air cond. Will need charged. Everything works but one quarter window but new motor in trunk. Perfect glass and trim, body has minor dings and some scratches. Dual exhaust was added, sounds good. Runs, shifts, stops, smells, and rides like a new car. Out of a million cars this year only 9,000 2 door ht were made, not many left and a true survivor. Won’t answer auto ?’s. Thanks

Thank you for posting about CS23T3C257362 -- very nice JY9 New Yorker Brougham!

It looks like a low-miles original -- I doubt that the seats would have survived otherwise. This said, the seller makes some interesting statements. For one, I don't know how much his friend could have enjoyed the car given what the seller says he has replaced :stop: In the same vein, if I were in the market for this car, I'd want to check what's under the vinyl around the rear window, and whether the H53 AutoTemp needs more than a "charge"

Good looking car.

This car helps illustrate how the SPD is a only scheduled date and cars were built before and after the scheduled date.

She's a nice one. I like it a lot.

Viewed from "this" distance, low mileage/long term storage "provenance" seems evident (little clues, nits/nats, both ways here and there).

No public comment on price ask as I am not in the game on it .. except going into a deal discussion I would be very willing to be on the higher side of whatever range this one might transact for. I would also have to get some eyes/nostrils on it to confirm my understanding of its condition.

Sure hope it finds a good home.

You gotta just know the A/C "needs charged."

Triple brown fuselage C with a big block  Looks like a winner to me. A year of outdoor storage would scare me though.

Sorry to highjack this thread, this looks like a nice car but....I like this one better, For Sale - 1973 Chrysler New Yorker @Douglas Buckley I like 4-door better then 2-door NYs but I may be in the exception. If you haven't yet, I think it would be to your advantage to get your engine sorted out to get a sale and possible gain $$ on the sale. No question about body condition on yours and no ATC to worry about is a big plus.
