This is a long shot, but what's a cheap way to bend this back into shape? I have the replacement windshield ready to go.

Me I would use a cherry picker. Put the hook at the lowest point put some pressure on it then hammer the frame up on both sides of the hook. When it moves put more pressure with the cherry picker and hammer again. Slow movements at a time so you can try to control where and how much it moves. Others might have other ideas but that’s how I would do it. My pops taught me that metal has memory and wants to go back to its original form. I seen him do wonders on metal. His motto “devil with a hammer, hell with a torch”. lol

The issue will be "stretched metal" that cannot be un-stretched, to me. Might need to slice it at the peak and then reposition things back to where they should be. Then weld/braze things back together and put the glass in. Of course, knowing the distance between the upper end of the A-pillars can be KEY as to getting things back like they used to be and how to get that dimension correct again. Least invasive to carefully use the PortaPower, though.

The roof skin has similarly stretched and is concave where it should be convex. Might need to drill some holes to relieve the tension so the metal can be popped back up, then braze the holes closed. Vinyl roof afterward? Selective use of dry ice and a torch? POP!!

Just some thoughts,
