This is what happens when I get lucky.
1973 Rear seat belt retractor. Seat belt would not extend at all.
Remove Retractable Seat Belt: 11/16 long socket, 3 ext, ½ R.
Vise with towel: 1/8” bit, drill out aluminum rivets holding plastic cover on retractor housing. Remember orientation.
Takes some work to push metal belt end thru plastic sleeve of cover. I used BFH and rag to tap the belt end thru. Belt twisted on retractor. Good luck!
Pull out, untwist, clean, retract. Repeat this process until belt extends completely. Reinsert belt end thru plastic slot
Reassemble plastic cover on retractor. 11/16 ls, 3 ext, ½ R on nut. Rear seat belt fixed.
