1973 Super Bowl Chrysler

I came across this old film of the 1973 Super Bowl pregame and halftime festivities. In the video at the 35 second mark, there is a brief shot of a '73 Chrysler 2-door parading some celebrities - I believe the Apollo astronauts - around the stadium. The video is here:




Is that just a standard sunroof opening, or does it seem like a custom job?

I disagree........looks like a factory job to me, size/location is the same as in the sales brochure.

Now if that is a real sunroof car, what happened to it?

That is a LARGE sunroof

I tend to say it's a regular sun roof; the two outer guys seem to be sitting on the roof with just the legs hanging through the opening.
