As the title says, a '74 Imperial is being given away, for the price of shipping.

I have a buddy who is crazy for cars and likes Imperials.
He has a stash of them and has to let some go.
He got a very complete 1974 2 door coupe about 15 years ago.
It was donated in running condition to a local charity, possibly after owner aged out.
He bought it and drove it home.
The car has been sitting since and needs to be gone through. It does not run.
The vinyl top is roasted.
Interior is not inspected but it's probably nice used condition.
There does not appear to be any rust or serious problems with the car besides the padded vinyl roof and the fact that it is not running.
If you are overseas and passionate about Imperials, I will give first shot to the person who is farthest from me according to google maps - tell me what city you are in - window is open for the next 4 days or so.
This is a good car that needs to be redone, and present owner wants it to go to someone who will bring it back and send photos of it in its native habitiat - a gas station local to the new owner.
Feel free to forward this message to a buddy who isn't in the IML as well - owner simply wants someone who will love the car.
Car is parchment color - yellow/tan sort of color.
Original paint that should polish out and may look really nice if polished.
no obvious dents or problems.
The roof is pushed down like someone stacked a wheel on top of it or something, but I think that I can pop it out by putting my back against it inside and simply pushing up on it from inside.
I will be happy to get the car with a trailer and get it to a shipper in the SF Bay Area, so this is your chance to get a great car for the cost of shipping.
I will not charge you to get the car or move it to a shipper.
1974 Imperial Coupe by Kenyon Wills
Car is not running.
It will have tires that hold air.
I have correct wheel covers if they aren't in the trunk - I did not get into the car when I was there - he has a lot of other cars that I will be selling for him that are not Imperials.
I think that someone with mechanical ability can get it running without much money.
If you want me to help you by buying common service parts locally and putting them in the trunk for you, we can do that too.
No takers and I'll pul l it out and take my best shot at getting it running and clean to sell for $$.
oh - he lost the keys.
I can get them made if you want - probably need a key to steer the car around.
