This car was tagged at the Chrysler Lynch Road executive lot. The executive promised it to someone else, but since my dad had the official “tag”, he got it. I remember going to piano lessons in this car and my mom used it quite often for her real estate endeavors. Though I always thought it was an ugly color combination (maybe normal for the seventies!), my dad said it was one of the nicest cars he had had ever driven. Notice my sister's Red 1975 Charger parked on the street in the first pic.

My parents had a '76 Newport that looked very similar to yours. Ours was all a light green color. It was a pretty low-optioned car with a 360 engine. It's big claim to fame was the road trip we took from PA to GA back in the summer of '82. I had just gotten my driver's license and did pretty much ALL the driving. The car ran great, and I remember that it was unbelievably hot in Atlanta, but that Chrysler pumped out huge amounts of ice-cold air. Oh the memories.
