1976 New Yorker exhaust source ?

Trying to help a buddy out here. Is there any source out there for a (stock) Y pipe for a '76 New Yorker with a 400 ?

I'm coming up wid nuttin'.

That's because there is nothing. Once every 5 years or so a NOS Y-pipe shows up if you can wait that long but it will probably be a different app.
FWIW, I think i bought the very last one for your application about 10 years ago.

One observed issue is that y-pipes usually don't "wear out". If duals "happen", the y-pipe is discarded. The other thing is that y-pipes were not "universal", but model year and engine specific. Possibly a talented muffler shop operative might duplicate or repair what y'all already have?

I have one old school parts store that has one giant cellar full of Y Pipes....
Need year, make, and model (2door vs 4 door, etc.)
And we can see if they have one.....
