Going to pick this baby up in 10 days. Just bought 4 1.3" whitewalls (215 75/15's) for her. What you see in the pictures are "Old" 235's....Which are not standard on these cars. And thanks to some of you guys for advise! Wished I'd used these forums a few years ago!

Congrats on your purchase... I hope you have a good trip. I do like that color, I hope the car meets your expectations.

Actually 235s ARE the correct equivalent size to the originals...

commando 1: Really, I've checked with 3 different tire businesses and said 215's standard and the 225's are optional! Confused somewhat!

Haha haha tire business not lying to sell off the junk they have sitting on rack. Sorry but you go to a tire store and tell them what you want not listen to thier line of B.S.
Same as muffler shop that lies to you telling you 2" pipe gives you more torque.
Never listen to salesman.

Far from the truth my friend. The individuals i asked where folks I know and where told up front I wasn't buying anything from them. Also all the data info online and elsewhere stated these results.

Pretty sure HR78-15 was standard tire size so P225/75Rl5, P235/70Rl5, P255/60Rl5, or P275/50R15 would all give approximately correct diameter. Congratulations of getting the car.

70bigblockdodge: Is there a point to these remarks? Why would they lie? Nothing to gain from them lying to me that I can think of! I guess I'm not following your remarks.

Sorry I have no respect for tire, exhaust, and used car salesmen. They lie until proven otherwise. Probably me just being cynical so disregard it. Carry on.
Enjoy the car.

Regardless, they should have sold you 235/75's.
Thats the closest equivalent size in diameter and load range to the OEM tires. Your odometer may be off up to 10% now. Just figure that in.

Just don't carry six people, that's all.

Always 235's here. I'd run 255's if only someone would make one in a WW. In my opinion, 235's are undersized.
