With 4 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive.
I want, I need, I could have if I had the cajones, but I don't. :BangHead: I've got way too much BS going on already.

1979 Dodge Colt red and white special edition | eBay

This is a rare red and white edition 1979 Dodge Colt. With 4 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. This car runs and drives excellent. I have owned it for about 3 years and driven it everywhere in nice weather. It starts every time and runs cool and smoothly. Shifts easily. The interior looks almost new with only some warpage on the dash pad, but no cracking. Everything works, wipers, heater, lights and even the original am/fm radio. The vinyl top is very nice with a small dent on the roof that could be pushed out if you can get under the headliner. The chrome is not pitted except there are 2 rust spots on the rear bumper. Front bumper is in very good. The floors are totally solid as is the trunk floor. The only real rust is the bottom of the quarter panels and the top and bottom of the front fenders which have been repaired long ago and are starting to bubble. New fenders are listed on ebay. The rocker panels are totally solid. A lot of the paint is original but some has been repainted. The red stripes on the sides are original. There are some small dings in a couple of places. The special wheel trim is original. 3 of the tires are excellent and one is brand new. One tire has good tread but is old. Good spare tire and original jack still in the plastic from the factory.
The car comes with the original window sticker, owners manual and original owners papers and even an instructions paper that slid over the sun visor when new. If this car had a repaint and some rust repair it would be a show stopper. I get questions about it everywhere I go. It is a blast to drive and can be driven every day. I have enjoyed it but now I think I want to pass it on to someone who will take it to the next step. I am including some new parts including timing belt, radiator hoses and another wiper motor, nos mud flaps and more.

That would be a lot more fun to drive if it had a 2.2-2.5 turbo in it. Or a Mitsu/DSM from an Eclipse. And a 5-speed.
And wouldn't hurt the value a bit, IMHO.

A friend of mine had one back in about 1980. It was a '76 Bicentennial edition. White body, blue top, red & blue stripes & red, white & blue interior.

Doge colt Carousel, available in 75 and 76 (as a bicentenial)
Tough car to find anymore.

a mild 318-4 spd would be overkill in one of these featherweights

Hmmmm Potsville PA... Let's see... go look at car, make deal, head over to take tour of the Yuengling brewery, drive both cars home! Sounds like a nice afternoon... but he ain't getting $4300 I can tell you that!
That kinda money will get you a very nice NYB somewhere.
