1) Why would Cummins install "defeat" emission devices for customers?
2) How did Cummins think they can get away with doing this for 630K vehicles?
3) (I'm paraphrasing) Cummins acted as "Yeah, we'll pay 1.67 Billion, but no big deal. It doesn't hurt us at all" That's weird too. I guess govt has to increase their fines?
Hopefully EV mfrs will get the prices down, charge within 10 minutes, stop the fires, install million charging stations, build hundreds of nuke or clean energy sites, disposal strategy for millions of EV's.
Just some useless info per Google - All farts from humans/livestock/animals contribute about 20% of Earth's emissions. Personal vehicles contribute 20%.
