6.0 Earthquake in Napa CA - Everyone OK I hope

My business partner is there on vacation & sent me pics of his trashed hotel room. Scary...
 
20 miles east here. Felt it, no damage, just the sidewalk and driveway are a little more outta whack and a new crack in the drive.
 
And to think I had once considered moving to California a few short years ago. California is going to be an island soon enough.
 
Ca. will be a submarine but not in our lifetimes. There were a few earthquakes when I was there, I was on the ship for every one including a big one in the fall of 1989 in San Fran area which we had just got underway from the day before. So I never really felt one on land.

Don't know about anyone else, but I got a pretty good sizeable chunk of lifetime still ahead. I would not be surprised to wake up and find out Nevada and Arizona have new sea coast in the near future. Its coming, no doubt about it. Nice place to visit, but I'm not putting down roots.
