62 Newport Tail lights/brake lights

Thank you all for your help regarding the headlight. I am now having an issue with no tail lights and no brake lights. I have taken the tail lights apart cleaned everything and put new bulbs. I’ve checked the fuse and it seems to be good. The brake light switch on the break pedal seems to be working. I have not put a meter on it to verify. In fact I am not good using voltage meters. Any idea why I have no tail lights and brakes however, the headlights are working.

just keep in mind this was a barn find about a year ago. She is up and running with all new suspension and steering.

You must use a meter or a test light at the least to determine if the juice is getting back there and move forward. It may be as simple as a bad ground.

OK, two fuses, two ground issues, and three hours of tracking down the problem and we are all fixed.

FYI....The inside domelight ties into the tail lights somehow. Who would have thought.

Tail light ground was not secured properly. The dome light fuse was blown.
