Wondering why my 65 300 Saratoga has a red engine. Also, I ordered new points and they are not the same as in the distributor. The car is originally from Alberta, Canada. Wondering if that makes a difference. Thank You, B

"300 Saratoga" is not a USA model designation. Canadian cars have some differences in their model lineup and other things from USA-sold cars.

Canadian engines were red. Most likely yours was assembled in Windsor, ON. Canadian car distributors are different, and take a different point set. Order a set of points for a Chrysler-built distributor rather than a Prestolite. A good local parts store should be able to get the correct Blue Streak part.
