Does anyone know the correct diameter Corbin Clamp used to secure the heat shield to the column? I think it is 2" but I am not certain.

As far as I know, the heat shield screws to the column with 3 sheet metal screws. All my 66s are like that.

Otherwise you'd have to disconnect the column if you ever needed to change the corbin clamp.

Just had to replace my shield last year (65 Dodge), as it was missing. Hard to find, most got tossed long ago. Never could find a good close up diagram. Not so sure that these were retained by Corbin clamp. I know it's not correct, but I found a double wire style screw-retained radiator clamp that fit perfectly! Hid the screw on the bottom.

Agree that there was running change from clamp to screws, sometime in mid-late 65.

I'm pretty sure 65 Polara is same as Chrysler....... so here goes.

Couldn't find my calipers, so this is it.

As installed.
Hope you can use these.

As per Polara 500, I believe this is the correct clamp. But you're going to have the column disassembled . . .
