Any chance anybody has a nice red dash pad for a 66 Fury?
That wasn't the case with my '66 Fury, Steve. It's attached to the dash with the same pretzel clips you see on door panels.I understand you will need to remove the windshield to replace your current/original pad correctly.

In the 1965 Fury, the standard dash was metal and the pad was an option Same dash, simply a pad attached to it.
In 66, the same dash with the pad became standard.
Remove the pad and you simply have the original dash, only with 3/16ths inch holes in it.
Honestly, I can't remember. Sorry.Do you know if the metal dash under the pad would have been painted? Just removing the pad might be an option.
The dash that came out of my parts car was painted. I believe it was body color before being blacked out. I can tell you for sure this weekend when I tear apart my other one.Do you know if the metal dash under the pad would have been painted? Just removing the pad might be an option.
Thanks , yours appears to have the padded dash pad under the cover.
My 66 Fury had the padded dash pad removed when I got it. The metal dash underneath was painted red. It looked to be original
Cheers

I peeked under there today. My dash is red. The car is off-white.Times two on the dash color. I went home and checked; the dashes are painted body color.
Have you checked the paint code on your fender tag? If it's Q or P(?) code, it was originally red.I peeked under there today. My dash is red. The car is off-white.
