Over the years, I have seen many questions regarding the 1967 and 1968 dash.
Many of the questions have been of the "How do I remove...." variety.
I think these reference pictures will help others when working on this dash, or even similar C-body dashes of the 65-68 era.

I need help to remove a dash pad on my 68 Newport parts car. I have all the screws I can find in the front and it still won't move, WTF. Are the rest underneath? I have pictures.Newport pics 052.jpgNewport pics 053.jpgNewport pics 054.jpgNewport pics 055.jpgNewport pics 056.jpg

There are 5 or 6 nuts on the backside. You can see the holes accross the top of the dash frame pics that Stan posted. Kinda tough to get at on a B-body, I'm sure they're equally as difficult on a C. The right combo of extensions and a swivel socket will be helpful.

The back of the dashpad has threaded studs that protrude towards the front of the car and are parallel with the ground. I can't think of a better way to describe it.

Yes, something like that.
