Thanks for adding me. So I have a 68 Fury 3, was my late Fathers very first car in 1975. I’ve been around it my entire life. Car came stock with the 318, that was swapped for a 360 crate engine in 2004. Has a fairly new TCI 727 also. Disc conversion all the way around. I’ve had the car now for about 3 months, only thing I’ve done to it so far is change the oil and put new tires on it. I will be putting new rims on it soon since the cragars are unilug with centering washers and I suspect it’s where a vibration is coming from. I’ll likely go with 17 or 18” rims not sure yet. Vintage air is also on my list. And maybe one day , magnum force front end.

How did they balance the tires?
Those Cragars you need a cone on the backside and also another from the front when tightened to the balancer's shaft.
Did they "static" balance? Or is there wieghts on inside lip and backside of spokes?
Did the shop install the cragars on the car or did you?
They are a PITA but when installed on the car correctly they should be smooth.
Trick is you cannot tighten just one lug all the way-- you have to do all five-- one each a little bit at a time-- as you turn the tire. That helps center the rim to the car. Once the washers are all aligned then hand tighten and torque them.

They do look really good on your car.
You just bought new tires...give the Cragars a chance.
Why spend more money on rubber band looking rice burner rims?

Very nice car and welcome to the forum!! :welcome:
