68 fury 318 fuel sending unit - 3/8" vs 5/16"

Is there an easy way to tell what fuel sending unit is installed, 3/8" or 5/16" without putting it on a lift? Based on engine size, etc.?

believe yours should be 5/16....check lines in and out of fuel pump...think 3/8 was only HP big blocks....my 68 383 is 5/16
