Not mine, spotted this gem today and had to look. She's got a few rough spots and it appears someone put some serious effort in it but I'm not sure that effort was properly directed. No glaring issues, but I'm not real comfy as is and I don't even know a price on it. Oh yeah, Grand Forks, ND is where it is.

Looks nice. Could never justify that kind of scratch.... Well, that's bull, I could if I were real in love .. N rich.

I don't know what $26000 Canadian equals in U.S. Dollars but it better not be more than $8-10k U.S.

It's more like 20,000. A *tad* north of what I'd pay ... And that's with 67/68 being my favorite years for C bodies.

Anyway, best of luck to the guy. She's pretty.

Thanks for posting. That is a beauty for sure.

What do you mean properly directed? The wheels? I'm no fan of aftermarket wheels but those look pretty good on it IMHO.

Also the hood looks like clear coat flaking off or maybe it's touch up paint.

P.S. If I were ready to make a purchase this seems like a very good candidate at maybe mid-upper-teens U.S. like say $16/17K but I'd like to see some interior pics obviously to finalize a price in my mind. Has A/C but no mention of other cool options.

I'd have to be seriously restraining myself if it were a Sport Fury with no vinyl top in this condition and mileage.

Well, under the hood is just tooooo sparkly clean and the color's just a wee bit "not right" which makes me doubt that it's totally original under there as well as some of the strangely colored items underhood although those wouldn't really be that hard to correct if so desired. The hood has some strange chips in it, on the top surface and not the leading edge as well as some sort of splotch you can see midway back on the top edge of the driver's fender. There is also evidence of repair above the right rear wheel opening, not really poorly done, but not done to my personal satisfaction, and plenty of spray on undercoating visible that would make me insist on seeing the underside clearly while it's on a lift.
Here's the right rear I was speaking of....

right above the front of the opening there's apparently poorly finished bondo....
It's hard to show with an amateur photog like me but I tried to capture it.

Interior looked pretty nice through the rolled up windows, it was a very dark cloth that I think had some sort of fleur-de-lis type pattern in it, don't know if it's original but I'd guess probably.

The MN phone number given is for East Grand Forks, MN which is about one half mile away from where the car is currently parked. Not at all unusual.

Too, I've not seen too many 500s without vinyl on the roof which makes me wonder if one was not removed. Secondly, the trim package on this car with the tin that fully covers the rockers generally has a lot of Swiss cheese behind it... Esp coming from the area it is located in. Id have to get real close to her... But even then, 26,000?
