68 Newport Cam break in

Update on the Newport, adjusted the timing, at idle I am at around 14 degrees btdc and it is not overheating anymore holding around 185, need to get a shroud and add another fan on the front of the radiator though when it sits for a while it climbs to around 195 and drops slowly. When you drive it doesn't get past 185. Has anyone installed a pertronix ignitor II conversion kit in their distributor. I know the timing will probably have to be adjusted again, but the directions say to leave everything where it was on the distributor as far as the position the rotor was in.
