68 Sport Fury front side markers - bulb install

i cant seem to get torn down to get to the bulbs. I have the socket out of the outside housing (chrome circle and lens) but that's it. I read a post on here about Imperials but mine look different. The pigtail just spins when I try to remove. What am I missing here?

That's three pieces you're holding in the photo, not counting wires, bulbs and such. The back side should just pop out of the pot metal piece.

I was able to get the pot metal piece out, but now what? The pigtail and bulb spin inside the chrome housing.

Okay, apologies - I was remembering the rears with the snap in socket. Dug one out and I think it won't come apart easily, i.e. not meant to do so. I was able to get the lamp out of mine fairly easily with a little trick I learned a while back for countersunk lamps like that. I cut a one inch piece of 3/8" fuel line and put a small cross cut across the end about 1/8" deep, then use that end on the bulb's envelope to press it in and turn, should pop right out if the corrosion isn't too ugly.
