I snapped a couple pics of fender tags for you, all on 65 Dodges..
This one from a 65 Monaco - this is the only fender tag I've seen in this location.

Where was it, you ask?

Got a couple more to get for your database, but I don't have pics for now.

Grateful thanks and appreciation!

They all help fill in the gaps. Put all the pieces together and the picture emerges.

That is an odd location. I don't know if I've seen that era of car with the tag on the firewall.

I also notice the tag carries the 99 engine designation (I'm thinking of the 65 four speed thread where that coding was discussed)

The last two have the same SPD. I also notice the last one has what would be called a 'thin' font. I'll have to check but I don't know if I've seen that font used at a plant other than the LA plant.

:thankyou:

For the record, the first one came from Illinois, and the other two I picked up in South Dakota. The engine from the first is/was a 413/4 barrel auto, at least that's what I was told as they had been separated before I got it although I did get the engine.

My 65 300 has the tag in the same spot
