NOT MINE '70 Polara Convertible.

That is the type of verbiage that makes me cringe a little... Kind of like how "original" and "restored" are somehow interchangeable.

And "NOS" applied to "NORS" parts....

The market for classic car dealers is mainly ignorant folks with money. Or at least ignorant enough to not know about things like boosters, wire loom, or other details that only the experts would sniff out.
It seems that once a C makes it into the hands of a dealer it has reached its maximum exploitation potential. Then, poof.

Not all of the dealers of course, but many ain't gotta clue what they have.

Similarly, and maybe more so, some BUYERS (including myself on an occasion or two:() ain't so smart either.

On occasion these "low-information" buyers and sellers connect ... leaves some of us shakin' our heads at the deals that get done.

IMHO, 40 years into this hobby.

That seems to be happening more and more.
Either that, or we read about it more thanks to the Internet.

Regardless, thanks @crv for posting about DL27L0D113633 -- I hope DL27L0D113633 again finds a good home.

PS: I note that the SBD in the 1970 Polara convertible master list started by @polara71 is Sept. 3, 1969 -- which is what the fender tag shows, in other words the dealer can't read.

There's a lot of truth to that.

I have said that about many of the things going on in the world.... Good and bad... But I digress.

The Superlite isn't original. It has a 440. The car has been fully restored with a stub frame replacement. How is it an executive ordered car?

Seriously aggravating. Gees...

Yes, indeed. That is also why mentioning the VIN in the thread is so important, as is linking to related threads -- makes it much easier to search and to connect the information and avoid uninformed/ill-informed/misleading ads.

I agree with the King of Data.

Originally a New York car that was wrecked with front end damage. I know this car very well as a friend restified this car in the early to mid 1990’s.
