Wyatt, what happened?
I'm not happy at all with this. The trailer is reserved for tomorrow morning and now the car is on Craigslist...great. It will surely go into the wrong hands now. No title. Big block. It will have the front end bent higher then the windshield at one of this summers tournament of destruction races in Joliet. Ask me how I know...

I already knew it was listed. He contacted me about this Dodge he got when he bought some property and found it in the garage. He has been very flakey. Talked this morning about the car and to come tomorrow and then he backed out wanted me to call at 630. So I called twice. No answer. Car is now on Craigslist for 4 times what we agreed on. The car is in the hood on the Southside. I don't HAVE to have it but surely it's safer in my hands then the hands it's likely to fall into.

Yep, a bonafide 440 2 bbl. Just ask him!

71 Monacos hardly ever come up for sale, but a 4 door like that one is probably going to be a parts car, and not worth $2K IMO without knowing a lot more about it. A 2 door might be a different story.

I agree. I wish it was a two door very badly. Hoping I can get it loaded and out of there tomorrow. How hard is it to take the ignition switch out? It's got no keys. It's either that or wheel dollys. The car is in an alley garage on the south east side of Chicago.

If you don't have to turn the wheel from where it is positioned presently, you could just jack it up and unhook the shift lever linkage and move the lever on the trans to the neutral position and roll it onto a trailer if the tires will hold air long enough, or even if they won't, as long as you have a good winch.

Wait, that’s not a 440, the picture of the vin shows “L” code 383, no? Either that or I’m missing some sarcasm.
