Why? Because its readily available and cost $20 instead of $200. And I have a dozen cars and they all have a dozen defects to fix. Do the math.
The switch is from 82 to 85 GM 4-dr cars, and others GM vehicles. I also bought a $30 GM pigtail, and it is the very definition of Chinese Junk. The pigtail is a total fail.
Any explanation about how to do the install would be condescending to this crowd. So, I'll just drop the part you need to save a little time.
The positive and negative are "reversed" on some years of the GM switches!
