I had one so similar I thought this was it. mine had about 40k on it and I sold it in '91 to a shop customer who loved before I moved to FL. Only car I ever made a profit on and that was just a few hundred... at that time FL had an impact tax on vehicles from out of state or I would have brought it instead of the old rusty no A/C chevy I brought and got rid of before titling.

actually, he still has it, so if you got any rough estimates, please post. thanks.

I sold mine in 1991 for $2500 and thought I did quite well. Of course Murphy's law kicked in and in the 2 days between negotiations and title transfer a small windshield chip became a large crack and cost me $500... and I still felt good about it. But if I hadn't been told it would cost me $1200-1600 to title it, it would have come to Florida.

Its worth $2500 any premium above that is sentiment...

I'd feel really good about getting that one for $2500 if I were looking.

1991... geez its as if sarcasm has suddenly become a lost art here, or am I just bad at it... I can try more.

ok, ya'll can tell me if i was too hard on this guy, but he seems a little void of reality to me....first his message to me, then mine back to him...

Not gonna do PayPal or anything that requires bank accounts. Car doesn't leave my hands unless I have cash money. Maybe your friend didn't understand that either.

you are totally laughable, do you think someone in this day and age is going to carry thousands of dollars on them and bring it to you? wiring money from a bank is no risk at all, it's all pre-approved. you may as well forget college, because you ain't gonna sell that car with someone handing you that much cash. actually, you're safer wiring it from a bank, what if is counterfeit? did you think of that? sorry, man but you are all confused......if you change your mind, feel free to contact me. already told you, no paypal if you dont want to, but it would be wired and (certified) from my bank, well, it's up to you now, wish you luck, you'll need it.

When someone acts like an ******* to me I often prove I'm a bigger *******. You did fine...

Was there a price in the listing, and if so, what was it? Or what was he willing to accept. The photos make it look better than it could have come from the factory - is there some way to photoshop photos or enhance them to look so sparkling?

$3200 at last glance... I sold mine to an older gent in bethel park area... 1991 40k miles...still can't help wondering if this is it.

Look like pictures were enhanced with HDR. Still looks great!

Cash is king to a lot of guys out there and you can't tell them otherwise.

WHAT??????
No way....
Unless you're talking sales tax too....

Impact tax was ruled illegal and everyone who applied got a refund... it was something like $800 or so dollars extra for bringing in an out of state car. Before the internet, I just took the word of the clerk I talked to on the phone. drove a 77 suburban down that had a shett of plywood to stop my crap from making it through the floor. Bought a 69 gmc pu soon after I arrived for $200 from a guy who was pissed when I used a matchbook to reset the points and drive home.
