Good looking machine. That dashpad looks mint! I would like it even better if it were a big block and didn't have the AC but it sure looks to be in nice shape.

SELLER DESCRIPTION (paraphrased) - $7,500 OBO or Trade

I have a 1972 Dodge Polara Custom. Near new condition. Too much to describe. A pretty rare automobile. I have got original paper work. Runs and rides like A dream. There is no rot any where on this car. I just put new center caps on it

Serious inquires only, Calls only. Cannot answer emails. offers or possible trade? Current offer $7500.00. possible trade for older Harley Electra glide(1963?) .

I really don't need or want to sell it. J ust seeing if there is any interest out there in this machine.

This is on my list of cars wherein I think the 4dr looks more clean/graceful/balanced than the coupe, because the roofline doesn't flow very well. 75-78 B-body Monaco/Fury is another example.

Youre nuts
No, it's opinion, and I can explain why I feel that way.

IMO they did a good job of the greenhouses in the slab/early fusey years, everything was proportionate and looked like the top/bottom was designed to match each other, whether coupe or 4dr. ~72-78, though, it seemed like they designed everything as a 4-dr, then decided to make coupes and throw a small token window behind the doors. Look at 68-70 Charger vs 71-74 as an example (or a 65-67 Impala vs a 77-78).

75-78 B-body - rear window more vertical, C-pillar doesn't know whether to blend or stand tall. On the 4dr the window is sloped similar to the windshield, and the C-pillar blends rearward into the top of the quarterpanel. 4dr has the nice coke-bottle shape also, 2 dr's arches/shape differ front to rear (probably a design no-no?).

On the Polara/Monaco, the rear window is shorter, and makes the cars look like they've got an oh-so-slightly chopped top from the rear, esp when looking at the size of the windshield, and IMO it throws the whole balance of the car off, and makes the roof look top-heavy to me. The 4dr is much more fluid and proportionate.

I personally do not agree at all. They both flowed well. In my book, the 1969 - 1971 fuselage cars are my favorites, but the 72 - 73 Dodges are virtually a tie in the looks department and how they flow. I did not however, like the 72-3 Chryslers, as they just totally wrecked them with their boxy looks IMO. The more "formal" roof was too good for them and couldn't save them.

all 72&73 Fuselage 2drs are not as nice as the 69-71 models with the sports roof IMHO
