OOOOOOOOOOhhhhhh, I see what your talking about...and the coloring does look a bit "off", but then it could be due to the light source.

Wait a sec., the one on top is black. So how does this happen, what did the assy lines choose what color to use on and odd/even day? I've seen way more white ones than black...and the black one was today,lol.

Here's my guess. Those filler strips were made of a flexible rubber/vinyl? And then were more then likely painted black. The black paint did not adhere well to these strips. After years of hot, cold, sun, rain and snow the paint usually deteriorated. Some people might mistake those strips as being originaly white/beige and clean them up and re-install them when bumpers are re-done.

Hmmm. Not sure on the Cs, but every other Mopar that I've checked this on had fillers that were molded in either black or ugly beige and then painted silver by the factory.
