77 New Yorker : how to remove trim around the front and rear windows

How does one remove the stainless trim around rear and front windows? The service manual does have some minimal instructions for removing the trim from the A-post but that's it. I've watched some videos of various cars but not specifically for this car and as I try and work on the piece it doesn't want to release and I don't want to force it and bend it.

Ahhh! So it seems the one video that I watched was on to something. They used a 90-degree angled pick. I have one of those and tried to use it, but couldn't feel it "catch" anything. But I'll keep trying. In fact, I might just make something like this out of a piece of thick sheet metal I have lying around.
