Now there's a nice winter car! I always liked these, but more the 2-door hatch back version.
They were great in the snow. Looks to be in pretty nice shape.

"New Paint" always makes me cringe a bit unless there is before pictures.

Back in the day a friend of mine had a Eagle wagon that he used to pull a two place snowmobile trailer.

The Eagle was great in snow ,but with its 258 six and what must have been quite mild gearing ,its acceleration left something to be desired.

The 258 had a lot of torque for the size of the car. That was the go to engine for CJ7 in the later years. We had an SX4 and an '86 CJ7 we bought brand new. Those engines were very good.
I miss them both.

The paints back then were kinda crappy, the pictures he showed of the quarters seem in decent shape. A further inspection and chat with the po I'm sure would tell the whole story.
If i needed another 4wd I'd be there checking it out.
