This is a car I bought from a man who was restoring it as a Fire Chiefs tribute car destined to go to a Fire museum in New Jersey. I got the car with 50,000 original documented miles and have in the past few years added another 17,000 miles for a total of 67,000 to date. The car has mostly original paint. The top part of the car was painted a slightly different shade to give it a different look for the Fire museum. It’s really and nice effect and it really works on the car.
It’s a fun car and a solid dependable car. Not perfect but pretty darn good!

The car has a 318 V-8 two bbl. carb-
A 727 Torqueflite 3 speed automatic-
AC and heat, A/C and hear work well-
AM/FM tape stereo-
Full velour interior, split bench front seat, vinyl door panels- all in excellent to near mint condition!
Light package-
New Toyo radial tires on 15” x 8” steel wheels and police vented hubcaps-
Fully carpeted in excellent condition-
Power front disc brakes & drum rear brakes redone with all new brake lines-
Power steering, manual windows & locks-
Excellent chrome bumpers-
This car drives, handles and stops like a new car. It was my daily driver until recently when I bought a pickup. This is a great entry level classic car that can be used and driven. Prior to me buying it the former owner entered it into a number of NJ car shows. It gets a lot of positive and complimentary attention! More than you’d even imagine...

This is one nice Gran Fury. Most of this generation were municipal/ work vehicles, and let's face it, when employees don't have a vested interest in a car, they treat it as a beater from the time it was new. But this looks like a real babied example. The interior looks great. I think this might be a good buy for someone looking for this model. I don't think the price is off, but I bet it could be negotiated for less, the demand just isn't there.

Wow, very impressive. If it were 2000 miles closer to me, I just might....

It looks like the darker red color goes from the pinstripe up, but hard to tell.

15 x 8" wheels it says too.

Tried to cheap out on a paint job and it didn't match.

It is on the jalopnik.com site today, with their take on the car. At the end, you get a chance to vote if it’s a good deal, or as they call it, ‘ Nice Price or Crack Pipe ‘. So far, Nice Price leads by 900 votes.

So 17,000 miles as a DD in MD and it looks this good? Hmmm...my spidey senses are tingling...

Still, it's a finished roof that could be redone. Lot better than a ratty vinyl top above unfinished rusty surface metal. That car's a keeper if you like the color. Price is reasonable. Engine compartment looks great.

For a non squad I think this car is over priced. Look at this one and compare.

his Chrysler is one of a kind. Full royal blue interior, no scratches or tears. This car was treated like a baby. It's also one of the smoothest rides you'll ever drive. You have to drive it for yourself. Dont want to sell, but I'm moving and need to let her go.

Only 44,000miles
8 Cylinders
Fully functional
No leaks or noises
Active tags and plates
Clean title

I'm thinking you could find a really nice grandma 5th Ave for similar money. Not saying this one isn't a good solid car but...

Also, a 727? Not likely unless a retrofit.

Kevin

you won't find a clean one like this on the right coast. most are rotted and gone.
