Helo fellow MOPAR lovers!

I'am planing my roadtrip from Koblenz, Germany to the isle of Islay, Scotland and already booked the ferries to pass the "English Channel".

In Sep 2026 im going on this ride and like this is a international forum i'am hoping to may get in contact with some MOPAR lovers from England or even better Scotland!

Why i'am doing this? After 7 yrs of not really doing something without family i want to do something just for me a few days. And as destination i choosed a country i love: scotland; and a region (Isle of Islay) that makes my favourite Whisky! So i'am going do drive there, visit at least 4 destilleries and buy a bottle or two in every one.

May you can mark some British members if you know some? @ayilar ?

Greats Manuel

Hello Manuel!

That's a great idea!
A beautiful country with very warm people. I was there a few years ago with two friends and we backpacked a part of the Speyside Way. Of course, we visited every distillery along the way ;)

@coco is a member from Scotland
Unfortunately, he has not been active here for about a year

I've been in Edinburgh about...2008??? Hadn't had much money in those days. Now iam going to enjoy the roads an whiskys.

They allow 0.8 alcohol while driving ;)

You will have a lot of distilleries to choose from!

Your right, but we use another measurement for alcohol. It's 0.3 per mille blood alcohol for example in Germany. If you have alcohol in your breath it has to be verified by a blood test which is absolutely accurate.

Ahh... So it's parts per thousand rather than the US standard of parts per hundred. I did not know that.

So, .8 equals .08 %
