a couple of weeks ago i went with my buddy to pick up a 60 Imp ( he's hoarding em). its way beyond saving but has lots of parts that could well live on in his other cars if he ever untarps them and does anything with them :poke:.
has automatic swivel power seats, MirrorMatic auto dimming rear view mirror, headlight dimmer, passenger side mirror, p antenna.
this car was so rusty that the trunk opened on the highway - the lower framework of the trunk lid with the lock stayed locked in place but the rest of it flapped open.....
1 family owned since 65 or 66, and parked between 2 pine trees since 78. lots of paperwork from the family inc bill of sale from the dealer.

it looks like it is in mud but it isnt, thats 8 inches of pine needles.....

blue paint has been dabbed on in a couple of places..... pine needles got into everywhere, hood was frozen shut, took over an hour to get it open without breaking the 1 year only hood hinges. so far only the driver's side doors have been opened.
amazingly all the tires were able to be pumped up and held air after sitting outside for 44 years

original colour is Cedar Green Iridescent

Too Bad.... If I didn't live so far away, I'd buy it to part out! BTW.... Where does this guy live?

Thanks for posting all those pics. I love the 60's, well more years than just 1960 Imperials. Re: your 1st two pics, with that grill it looks like it's :mad:for being not only left outside all those years, but also under those pines.
