George Carlin started as a radio DJ at KXOL-AM in Fort Worth, TX. A clean-cut/skinny-tie younger guy, back then. Then he got into the night club acts and things progressed to national TV programs and records/tapes. Many famous monologues, many probably on YouTube. "7 Dirty Words", etc. He had the delivery and timing to make things better than just spoken words.

Jimmy Dean was a TV entertainer. Got into the sausage making business in the earlier '70s. First plant was in Plainview, TX, as I recall. Now deceased, but the sausage and related items still exist.
