I've been in contact with AC Global after the recent purchase made for their heater core being sold on eBay.
As mentioned from my other post, their product (HC5777) does not allow the heater box to close with the same fit as an OEM unit. because of the additional bracing & rivets, leaving a 1/4" gap between the two sections of the box.
After bringing this to their attention, they told me they will need to locate the box they used for the HC5777 to find out where their measurements went wrong.
Later that day they contacted me and asked if I would be willing to send them my box because they could not locate the one they used as the template. Unwilling to send mine, I just happen to know a guy in Rockford @71Polara383 who had a bunch sitting on a shelf.
I'll be sending one of those heater boxes to AC Global so they can re-tool the heater core.
If they make good on the commitment made to correct the part, all of us will have a source for parts from them that will fit in our cars.
I'll be staying in touch with them, and will update this thread as I learn more on their progress.
