Anniversaries...

It's all relative, that car doesn't really look that old, I think it's pretty close to what my Dad's first car was.

Like some of the other guys here I've owned one of my cars now for 45 years come this August 6th. But its a "B" body, not a "C". The car looks better now than it did back then, wish I could say the same about myself!

Should've thrown on a wig and found a white tux jacket for the "today" pic!

I've gone through several wheel/tire combos over the years. Initially, it had the original 14" steelies and wheelcovers. Then, I found a set of 14" Road Wheels with trim rings I bought off my brother-in-law's Duster. Ran those for a time, then found a set of Magnum 500s that had a set of Dunlop Qualifiers first, then Goodyear Eagle GTs after that. Ran some Torque-Thrust Ds for a short time, but they rubbed in turns. Back to the original 14" wheels and whitewalls. Two years ago, I put the wheels and tires that are on it now, on the car.

Yes, same location as original photo. Didn't get the "camera angle" just right, but its close.

Mothers Day 1969, I'm the one seen over the car, my father with his back turned (63 Plymouth Wagon),
April 2009 with my Niece seen over the car, the car will ultimately go to her.

I know this is about cars, but I couldn’t resist, it’ll be 15 years on the 23rd of this month... maybe if I keep her washed and waxed and stored inside, she’ll still look this good 40 years from now..

I do not have any early on shots of my Challenger because I only bought it to beat around for a short time while my Barracuda was getting a new engine. Circa 1987, here it is at Carlisle a couple of years ago.
