Been Thinking, (Not Always a Good Idea)
Would an ODDS & BODS Page be of Any use?
Details Small & Large that might be of use to People.
I worked in the Wrecking Industry for many Years & I knew a Fella with a Photographic Memory.
He could tell you the Interchange of a Range of Parts & Models spreading over 30 odd Years. Just thinking that among us we would have a Vast Wealth of Knowledge. Sharing could be Somewhat Helpful.
My two cents worth: Many Years ago I was trying to convert a 1959 Custom Royal to Disc Brakes. I found that the Disc Brake from a 1969 Plymouth Fury had the same Bearing Sizes & Spacing on the Spindle as the Custom Royal. After that it would only have been a matter of designing a Caliper mount. I ended up dropping the idea when I managed to procure a set of 73 Dodge Monaco Discs & Spindles. The trick there was to have a Local Machine Shop turn up a set of Tapered sleeves to adapt the Monaco Stubs to the Custom Royal Ball Joints.
A Further two cents: From 1965 to 1972 in the Land of OZ The Spring Perches were All the same Spread so it's possible to fit Wider Wheels by Swapping Diff Assemblies.
