Good Day All

On a '65 Newport, how is the antenna lead routed into the interior? Apparently at some point, the antenna lead was replaced and a hole was drilled in the firewall behind the glove box to route the cable.

I have shined a light along the upper fender were it goes back to the door, hoping to see an opening. I have the glove and heater box out but cannot see anywhere where a cable would be routed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

On a '65 Chrysler, the the antenna lead was routed thru the front of the cowl below the rib on the cowl on the passenger side about 1' from the fender. Usually there will be rubber grommet at that location.

Thank you for the response. The car radio is factory (as per the build sheet). In lieu of punching another hole in the firewall, I'll enlarge the current hole to accommodate the grommet.
Unfortunately, I cannot upload a photo as it is apparently to large.
Thanks Again

Tried to copy/paste photo but that didn't work either.
