Yes, Stan, I have a FSM & I've looked at it....

I'm hoping for shortcuts, tips or tricks. Thanks in advance.

Is the big flat clip rusted in Ross? I usually use a little pry bar and pry between the lock cylinder and the tab of the clip, thus forcing the clip to slide out of the grooves and off of the assembly.

Definitely not rusted so just slide the clip off, wham bam huh? Nothing to go wrong or avoid?

I never had any issues on Goldie, but I didn't have any rust to deal with. I just tapped the clip off with a screwdriver and a hammer.

Nope just pop the clip, pull the cylinder out lift slightly, the rod has an s bend in it where the lock lever attaches. Purty simple.

If you ain't got 'er outta there by now, try usin' one of them dent pullers that thread in the slot, and start slammin' the slide weight. That'll get the job done!
