Hi all,

I'm looking for an auto pilot cruise setup to put in my 1955 Dodge 1/2 ton. I believe these came in Chrysler and Imperial cars from 58?-66?. I will be installing in the truck, that will be powered by a 440. I think it would be neat and go with the retro vibe of the truck, it will also run a 1957 Loadflite pushbutton shifter and a dash mounted rear view along the forward look theme.

I am not made of money by any means, but if anyone has something like this, please let me know and we can hammer out details. Does not have to be show quality, just decent driver type stuff. I am hoping to get the truck up and running by summers end this year, it has sat long enough, but alot of you know how that goes. I want to take the kids for a ride.

Thanks for your time,

Derek

Auto pilot

Is that the one that mounts in the dash?

I have the auto pilot on my '59 Imperial. To the best of my knowledge this is the first year. They are problematic and don't like shutting off it I remember correctly. Also, the sevice manual does not even mention this option until 1964 (I think)
