Hooking up the electric choke where is the best spot to hook up the pos+ side to?

Usually to the key power side of the ballest resistor some how that's well connected

Yep what he said. Since that coil draws a fair amount of current i installed a relay underhood to take the load off the pass-thru connector and ignition switch.
