His health is such it won't allow him to work on cars anymore.

I remember that but was wondering if anyone knows his current status. Hopefully he is able to recover. He was a well respected resource on the Drydock.

I do. The docs say for right now they aren't taking his leg, but will continue to monitor how it does. He absolutely can't work out in the heat at all, it's just too hard because of his diabetes. He's holding his own. This is on top of 2 bad knees, 3 crushed vertebrae in his back and two in his neck. He does spend more time now collecting his Marklin trains ;-)
