Interesting that G25 is ventless side windows as it has the window vents. Also was power seat(s) standard with 78 NYB's as I don't see that listed?
Strange to me is the fact that the drivers side seat is power while the passenger side is manual.

Nice car.
The decoders that they have on some sites for these can be a little inaccurate at times, but at least it they get you in the ball park.
I do know that the passenger side power seat was an option. Why? I have no idea, it was the top of the line after all.

Only 10% of Formal passenger seats are power seats..i don't know for sure about the 74-75 Imps.

Thank you. No offense intended. I’m tickled pink by what I have learned about the data plate.

Should be a build sheet in the seat springs or seat back. Or possibly under the dash pad on top of the glove box. That is the holy grail from the factory that will tell you everything about your car build.

I ..am...truly...losing it memory-wise....
This is what is left of it when I found it under the rear seat.
It is self explanatory, though I do have a question.
Would the Broadcast printed date on the sheet be the date the car was built?

She's about to have a birthday.
B16 is scheduled build date (Nov 16) if everything is on time, yeah right, it would be built that day.

Most Formal Imperials were dual power front seats.

All of them had a 50/50 divided front bench, no matter how many doors. It was the passenger side power control which was optional.
