camper topper on a station wagon

I know this is not a mopar. Had to list it here as it is a decent idea if someone really wanted to have a mod type of camper set up. Was gonna put it in the modified thread but thought better to just show it to you station wagon guys.

That sounds cool. Have not seen that before.

In the middle 1960s, the Texas Highway Dept would order base Dodge Coronet sedans sfor their supervisors. The deck lid was removed and a drop-in metal "box" was inserted in the opening. Had the side panels rolled just like a step-side pickup truck's bed panels were. Seems like only the '66 and '67 models did this?

As to the camper conversion . . . HATE to drive that thing in a 40mph side wind! Much less a rougher road.

I've seen 5th wheel campers that clamped the receiver to the roof's rain troughs! Yikes.
